Joe Pulizzi is first and foremost a content marketing evangelist. He began using the term “content marketing” back in 2001. Joe founded the Content Marketing Institute (CMI) the leading online and event resource for content marketing. CMI is responsible for producing Content Marketing World, the largest content marketing event in the world, as well as the leading content marketing magazine, Chief Content Officer. CMI also offers strategic consulting for enterprise brands such as AT&T, Tyco, PTC, Ogletree Deakins and many others.
Joe co-authored Get Content, Get Customers, which is recognized as THE handbook for content marketing, as well as Managing Content Marketing. Also, look for his new book coming out in September 2013, Epic Content Marketing.
Joe has spoken at more than 200 locations and 10 countries, advancing the practice of content marketing. He’s delivered keynote speeches for dozens of organizations, including DuPont, SAP, Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Alcatel-Lucent, and NASA Tech Briefs.
He has been honored with numerous awards and accolades, including “Custom Media Innovator of the Year” by American Business Media, voted “Who’s Who in Media Business” by BtoB Magazine, named a Folio: 40, and recognized as the “Most Influential Content Strategist” by Lavacon.
