Laurence Stybel

Laurence J. Stybel is a co-founder of Stybel Peabody Lincolnshire. His expertise is smooth leadership change in complex systems. He was co-founder of the U.S. group that has become part of Arbora Global. Larry spearheaded the U.S. group’s move towards globalization and established distribution channels with the American Management Association, the Financial Executives International, Massachusetts Hospital Association, and the Massachusetts Association of Health Plans.

Larry is a national figure in the field of leadership and governance. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the New England Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors. His articles have appeared in California Management Review, Directorship, Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, and Counsel Magazine. Larry has been interviewed in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Business Week.

Larry has served on the Boards of Compensation & Benefits Management and a venture-backed technology company in the talent management space called Zapoint. Zapoint converts traditional resume-style accomplishments into numbers.

Larry received a doctorate in organization behavior from Harvard University and was previously an executive compensation consultant with a global compensation consulting firm. He also is Executive in Residence at the Sawyer School of Business at Suffolk University in Boston.
