Sandy O'Dell

As a writer and marketing strategist, Sandy O'Dell has 30 years of experience in planning, creating, and implementing marketing and lead generation programs that consistently produce higher revenues and net profit.

Most recently, Sandy worked at Wellesley Hills Group as a Senior Consultant for service and technology companies seeking to expand their client base beyond repeat business and referrals. Here, she generated new prospects for clients through messaging development, campaign writing, cold call selling, and pipeline management.

Sandy began her career in direct marketing with the American Management Association (AMA)—a global leader in management development. At AMA, Sandy quickly leveraged her database intelligence and creative instincts to launch new and jumpstart flagging product and service lines.

As General Manager of AMA's Training Products Division, Sandy tripled the number and retention rate of corporate customers by introducing a new service line where clients could benchmark progress against industry standards. In addition, Sandy negotiated synergistic partnerships with universities, libraries, and professional associations to increase profit threefold in less than three years.

Sandy also served as Vice President of Marketing for United Way of Massachusetts Bay, where she cut direct mail expenses in half while increasing the top line and secured key marketing partnerships that redoubled brand visibility and strengthened brand messaging.

When Sandy is not sailing or windsurfing, she collects (and reads) dictionaries.
