Perspective From Architecture, Engineering, And Construction: Marketing Is A Team Sport |

| My Thoughts |
I want to agree with Catherine's perspective that it takes a team to understand everything that is in the minds of clients that don't fully understand the AEC culture. I want to add that one misconception today, especially in presentations, is the notion that the marketing professional has little reason to be involved, when what is expected is that only project management participate in the qualification and selection process. Just as it takes a team to build rapport with a client, it takes a great coach or quarterback, such as a marketing professional who understands all aspects of the owners needs as well as the AEC's capabilities, to lead the team during presentations or planning for the success of a project. |
