My Thoughts  

I am a small company, but surveying my clients is the most important thing I do. I am in a seasonal business, so at the end of my year, I send a handwritten thank you note, along with a survey. The response has been incredible. I learn of areas that I need to improve, and I fix them, and I let the customer know I appreciate their honesty and what I did in resonse. This increases my trust and relationship. I would rather have them tell me what is wrong than my competitor, and give them the opportunity to fix it and take the business. The good ones, well, I use those for referrals in follow-up letters and proposals. How great is it to show prospects how happy others are, and why they chose us in the first place. It's not expensive, but it's priceless.
