My Thoughts: I think this is a great article. In fact, my partner and I wrote book on this topic called E-Mail: A Write It Well Guide. We are business writing experts and saw that most e-mail messages were sloppy and confusing. Our book helps people think clearly about their messages so that they can get the results that they want from the communication. Also... a recent survey we conducted found that people do, in fact, form negative impressions of writers and their organizations when there are misspellings or grammatical mistakes in their messages.
