If you're a consultant, you're likely trading time for money. That is, you only get paid when you put in time and sweat on client projects.
A business model like that puts a ceiling on what you can earn. After all, you can only handle so many projects in a given day, week, or year.
Consider supplementing your business with a different type of revenue stream: informational products.
An informational product is a package for your ideas and methods. It can take many shapes and sizes. Among other things, it can be a book, workbook, directory, e-book, MP3 download, CD, video, screencast, or software program.
