The Wellesley Hills Group is a boutique management consulting and marketing firm that specializes in helping service firms grow. Vice Presidents at the Wellesley Hills Group lead client projects and teams across our consulting, marketing and lead generation service areas. Vice Presidents are the primary strategists, account leaders, and interfaces at the highest level with clients. Along with strong experience and skill in service business marketing and sales, we are looking to hire a Vice President, Client Services with a great attitude, exceptional drive, success focus, and alignment with the core values of the Wellesley Hills Group.
TYPICAL ASSIGNMENTS
Vice Presidents generally work on approximately 5 projects at any given time, including leading projects such as:
- Marketing and lead generation analysis and strategy
- Lead generation and inside sales campaign management and implementation across a variety of service industries
- Market research for service and product launches, marketing, or branding initiatives
- Sales and business development analysis and strategy
- Analysis of specific marketing activities such as direct marketing, Internet marketing, seminars and events, or other marketing tactics
- Thought leadership development such as helping our clients develop white papers, articles, research studies, and speaking engagements
- Database analysis and planning, including marketing process flow and list strategy
REQUIREMENTS
We are looking to hire a Vice President, Client Services with the following experience, background, and abilities:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in at least one marketing or sales related field. Consulting firm, agency, and internal experience will be considered equally.
- Ability to serve as the senior client manager, working directly as a peer with VP to C-level clients.
- Experience in marketing or sales leadership for a service business required.
- Ability to manage projects, including managing internal staff and facilitating client-side success in engagements.
- Ability to analyze information and research data, and communicate analysis succinctly and cogently.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and present articulately.
- Ability to work directly with clients without the direct supervision of a Wellesley Hills Group principal, including the ability to set, manage, and deliver on client expectations.
- Ability to mentor and guide less experienced team members.
- Ability to craft solutions and gain commitment for ongoing strategies and engagements.

- 4 year college degree at an academically rigorous institution. MBA or advanced degree desirable.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Compensation is a competitive salary plus a bonus based on individual and company performance. We offer health insurance through Tufts Health Plan, 401k and profit share plan, and a generous mix of all-purpose vacation, sick, and personal days. Travel is infrequent.
