In RainToday.com's recently released research report, Fees and Pricing Benchmark: Consulting Industry 2008, we surveyed 645 consultants to find out to what extent firms considered a number of different factors when setting fee levels.†
One might guess that the types and levels of professionals required to do the work would weigh heavily on fees and pricing decisions, and that "pricing by your firm's competitors" would be at least somewhat of a consideration. But, which factors carry the most weight?
