At RainToday.com, Mary leads site content development including research, case studies, how-to tools, interviews, and other premium site content. Mary’s career spans more than 20 years in higher education publishing and research, as well as professional services marketing.
Prior to joining RainToday.com, she directed publishing and global distribution as associate director of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government Case Program, the world’s largest publisher of case studies on public policy and management. Previously, she was a research associate at Harvard Business School and assistant director for new program development at Harvard University, where she coordinated the Conference on the Internet and Society.
She has extensive experience in marketing management in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors—she served as director of marketing for organizations including Bentley College’s School of Continuing Professional Studies, a regional law firm, and chamber of commerce. Mary has taught undergraduate marketing courses as an adjunct instructor and holds an MBA from Bentley College. In her free time, she enjoys trying to keep up with her son on the ski slopes and hiking trails of New England.

What I'm Reading
Well, there’s always a backlog of reading material...but favorites include: The New Yorker (and not just for the cartoons), The Wall Street Journal (especially the Marketplace section), Down East Magazine (real estate listings to foster dreams of escaping to Maine), Entrepreneur and Fast Company magazines (for Horatio Alger tales of rags-to-riches)...plus, a towering pile of fiction.
Favorite Pastimes
Hiking, kayaking, skiing, beachcombing, reading, reading, & reading.
