By Peter Bregman
If you want to do anything well, you must be persistent and patient. Skills and accomplishments don't happen instantaneously. The same is true for lead nurturing. Prospects push back, cancel meetings, and reject proposals. The key is to stay the course and continue to reach out to them.
That may seem difficult, for doing anything repeatedly becomes boring. And you may feel there's only so much rejection you can take. But if you enjoy what you do, all the practice, patience, and persistence will pay off. You will become better at what you do—and will win the client.
