Off the Wall: A Column by Alan Weiss, Contributing Editor
This is my final column for RainToday as we both move on in differing directions. It's been a fine relationship and an enjoyable one.
I'm telling you that because I'm sharing here my most fundamental principles and experiences pertaining to marketing and sales. For those of you who have been kind enough to read my monthly columns, I thought this might serve as a nice parting present.
Summary Thoughts
So, in no particular order:
- Your mindset must be that you have value to provide, not a "sale" to make. You're not serving the other person well if you don't convey and purvey that value for their betterment.
