Thought leadership might be considered a buzz word, but it's a necessity if you want to attract prospects and convert them into buyers. The key is to do it right, says Scott Ginsberg, to be a trusted source who moves people with innovative ideas—and to be patient.
"There's a way to convert eyeballs into dollar signs if you do it in a respectful way that gets people's permission and does it through a continuous stream of education," Ginsberg says. "If you can do it consistently and deal with not getting a lot of comments for six months, it's good because you can fail quietly, but more importantly you will get the rest of the people who will fade away and you will start to stand out."
