“With publishers, the expertise lies in the packaging and the distribution of the book. There’s only so much marketing that the publisher can actually do.
“It’s really all about the royalties. What you want to do is choose the publisher that is paying a decent royalty and has the distribution to make the book successful. More important than the advance is finding the right publisher who can get the book where it needs to be.” – Mary Glenn
